FAQ’s

Can you help me select my wallpaper?

Our expertise is in professionally installing your chosen wallcovering. We will work in partnership with you and your interior designer to ensure the materials you select create a beautiful and durable result.

Do you have wallpaper in stock?

We don’t have a retail location so we don’t stock wallpaper or maintain a library of wallpaper books. Today, most wallcovering is sourced and ordered online. Head to our links page and check out some of the suppliers we deal with. We can request samples and, once you’ve made your selection, we can confirm the quantity required. We can also order it for you, often at a discount.

How much do you charge per roll?

When it come to wallcovering, there is a tremendous variety of materials and job conditions. Rather than charging by the roll, our price is a combination of what you choose, where it’s being installed and how long the job will take.

Can you come and look at my job?

We can, but most of the time we can give you a quote without coming to your home. If you tell us the details of the wallcovering you’ve chosen, the dimensions of the walls and possibly a picture of the space, we can give you an estimate over the phone or by email.

Will you match a competing price?

If price is your main concern, you can certainly find someone on Kijiji to hire. Anyone can call themselves a paperhanger. Unlike other trades, there are no schools or other formal training available. There are no trade certificates or designations. Over the years, we’ve done many ‘rescue jobs’ where we’ve had to fix or redo what other installers have done. We do it right the first time.

Is it necessary to prime the walls?

It’s best practice, and one that we adhere to. We prime walls first with an acrylic pre-wallcovering primer/sealer. This is so that your wallcovering stays up for as long as you want it to, and comes down without doing any wall damage when you are ready for a change. It is included in our price.

Do you do large commercial projects?

At this point in our career we don’t do large projects like hotels, schools or hospitals. We prefer to hang interesting materials and specialize in unique custom projects.

Do you also do painting?

We primarily focus on wallcovering. We’re aligned with many painters and would be happy to recommend one for your project.
